At inkwell books and fine arts collective, we are dedicated to promoting the arts and fostering creativity in our Children's community. Our mission is to provide accessible cultural experiences that enrich and inspire. When black children see themselves reflected positively in the books they read, it helps to build their self-esteem and create a positive self-image. They feel seen and validated, and this can help them to develop a strong sense of self. Not only does literacy benefit educational growth but it also helps children develop their imagination and understanding of the world around. Reading helps children learn about new places, people and social constructs.
